# How to install license key

#### Step 1.

From AdvancedMiner’s menu choose Help and then License Manager.&#x20;

#### Step 2.

Choose Send request for the license key by e-mail and click the Next button.

#### Step 3.

1. Write the following Serial Number - AM\_COMMUNITY\_EDITION
2. Write the e-mail you used while filling the download form. The file with AdvancedMiner license key will be sent to this e-mail.

3. Select Activation of New License&#x20;

Now click the Finish button.

If everything done correctly, the following information will be displayed.

#### Step 4.

After receiving AdvancedMiner license key (file: license.key) via e-mail you will need to install it in the system. I will show you how to do this.

1. Open License Manager in AdvancedMiner

2. Choose Install license key from file and press the Next button

3. Click the Install button and indicate the location of your license key

Now click the Finish button.&#x20;

4\. The last thing to do is to click the Yes button to restart the system
