PRIVACY AND COOKIE POLICY
General information

Designation of the registry court and the number under which the company is registered: District Court for the capital city of Warsaw, XII Commercial Division of the National Court Register, KRS number 0000717723. Share capital: PLN 389,500.00 (three hundred eighty-nine thousand zlotys), hereinafter referred to as " Algolytics Technologies".
Algolytics Technologies is the Controller of the personal data of individuals using Algolytics Technologies' websites and services.
This Privacy and Cookie Policy (hereinafter referred to as the "Policy") sets out the rules for the collection, processing and use of personal data, as well as information about the cookies and other similar functions used on Algolytics Technologies websites or for the provision of services.
We take special care to protect the interests of data subjects, and in particular we ensure that the data we collect are:
processed in accordance with the law;
collected for specified, lawful purposes and not subjected to further processing incompatible with these purposes;
factually correct and adequate in relation to the purposes for which they are processed and stored in a form that allows identification of the persons to whom they relate, no longer than it is necessary to achieve the purpose of processing.

Purposes and legal basis for the processing of personal data
A person using the websites of Algolytics Technologies (hereinafter: "User") who only browses the website and reads the publicly available content, does not have to inform us about their identity. However, cookies and other similar features are used when using the Website. The information contained in cookies can indirectly identify a particular user of a website. Detailed rules on the use of cookies are described in the section on cookies (Section VIII "COOKIE" Policy).
Algolytics Technologies processes Users' personal data in accordance with the provisions of Regulation (EU) 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (hereinafter: "GDPR"), on the basis of:
Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR – based on the consents granted;
Article 6(1)(b) of the GDPR – when processing is necessary for the performance of a contract to which the data subject is a party or to take action at the request of the data subject prior to the conclusion of the contract
Article 6(1)(c) of the GDPR – for settlement, accounting and tax purposes on the basis of applicable law
Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR, i.e. for the purpose of pursuing the legitimate interests of Algolytics Technologies, which are the promotion of services, enabling communication, content integration, analysis of traffic on Algolytics Technologies' websites, prevention of misuse, creation of measurements and statistics, as well as for the possible pursuit of claims or defense against claims.
Period of personal data processing
The period of processing of your personal data depends on the purpose for which this processing is carried out and is carried out by the Administrator until there are grounds for it and for the time necessary to achieve the purpose for which they were collected:
In the case of providing services by Algolytics Technologies, the data will be processed for the period of their provision, after the end of their provision the data will be processed only if it is allowed or required in the light of applicable law, e.g. for statistical purposes or for the purpose of pursuing claims.
In the case of data processing based on the legitimate interest of Algolytics Technologies, the data stored until an objection to their processing is raised or for the period of limitation of claims that the data subject may be entitled to against the Administrator.
Voluntary provision of data
Providing data is necessary to conclude contracts and settle the conducted business and to meet the requirements of the law by the Administrator. This means that if you want to use the services we offer, become our contractor (supplier) or employee/co-worker, you must provide your personal data.
If your employer or other entity has indicated you as a contact person in connection with the conclusion/performance of a contract with Algolytics Technologies, your data will be processed to the extent disclosed by this entity (as a standard, it is your name, surname, position, e-mail address and telephone number).
In the remaining scope (in particular, the processing of data for marketing purposes), the provision of data is voluntary.
Rights of data subjects
The data subject has:
the right to access your data
the right to request rectification of your personal data;
the right to request deletion (in certain situations);
the right to restrict the processing of your personal data;
the right to object to the processing of data;
the right to lodge a complaint with the supervisory authority, i.e. the President of the Office for Personal Data Protection, 2 Stawki Street, 00193 Warsaw.
To the extent that your data is processed as part of the service provided (the data is necessary for the provision of the service), you may additionally exercise the right to transfer personal data, i.e. to receive your personal data from the Controller in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format.
Recipients of personal data
Access to the data is granted to specific and authorized representatives (employees and associates) of the Administrator or may be entrusted to other entities in connection with the provision of services by them to the Administrator.
In connection with the activities conducted by Algolytics Technologies, the data may be shared with the following trusted entities:
persons conducting business activity, including attorneys and legal advisors, cooperating with the Administrator in the field of services provided to the Administrator's clients,
state authorities or other entities authorized under the law,
entities supporting us in our business and at our request, in particular providing organizational and IT services, entities supporting the operation of the website, entity auditing our activities, entities providing customer services or entities cooperating with the Administrator as part of marketing campaigns, and such entities will process data on the basis of a contract and only on the Administrator's instructions
payment service providers within the meaning of the Act of 19 August 2011 on payment services, i.e. PayU S.A. with its registered office in Poznań, as well as banks, if it is necessary to conduct settlements,
in the case of job candidates – through the online recruitment portal and applications supporting the recruitment process.

The Administrator declares that it processes the Users' personal data in accordance with the Act of 29 August 1997 on the protection of personal data and the GDPR – Regulation 2016/679 of the European Parliament and of the Council of 27 April 2016 on the protection of natural persons with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data, and repealing Directive 95/46/EC (General Data Protection Regulation), and that it applies technical and organizational measures to ensure the protection of the processed data appropriate to the threats and categories of data to be protected, and in particular protects the Users' personal data against unauthorized access, loss or damage.
COOKIE Policy
The Controller's websites use information saved by means of "Cookies", i.e. IT data, stored on users' end devices (e.g. computer, phone) intended for the use of websites. The Administrator's pages can also be used. Similar tools with similar functions to cookies (e.g. advertising pixels, tags, beacons). These files allow to recognize the user's device and properly display the website tailored to individual preferences and ensure the security of using the Administrator's Websites. They usually contain the name of the website from which they originate, the time they are stored on the end device and a unique number.
Types of cookies used by the Administrator or external suppliers:
necessary cookies that enable, among m.in, the correct display and proper functioning of Algolytics Technologies websites and ensure the security of using Algolytics Technologies websites – files processed on the basis of the legitimate interest of the administrator (Article 6(1)(f) of the GDPR)
statistical cookies that allow us to study traffic on the Administrator's websites, learn about user preferences, analyze their behavior on the website and enable interactions with external networks and platforms - files processed on the basis of the user's voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
marketing purposes, which allow for the adaptation of displayed advertisements and content to the preferences of users and conduct personalized marketing campaigns - files processed on the basis of the user's voluntary consent (Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR)
appropriate optional cookies, the User can give consent. ;
Cookie duration
permanent cookies - stored on the end device until the User deletes them on their own or until the time specified in the parameters of a given cookie expires;
session (temporary) cookies - stored on the end device until the software is turned off or the browser session ends (until it is closed).
Entities using cookies on the Controller's websites
own cookies - these are cookies that are placed and to which only the Administrator has access;
cookies from third-party providers (such as e.g. Google Ireland Ltd, Consentmanager AB, Linkedin Inc., Meta Platforms Ireland Limited, Hubspot Ltd.).

How to disable cookies
By default, most web browsers on the market accept cookies by default. The User has the option to specify the conditions for the use of Cookies:
using the settings of your own web browser - this means that you can, for example, partially limit (e.g. temporarily) or completely disable the possibility of saving cookies on your device - in the latter case, however, it may affect some of the functionalities of Algolytics Technologies' websites;
through the Cookie management panel available when loading Algolytics Technologies pages.

Data transfers to third countries
Personal data is generally not transferred outside the EEA (European Economic Area). Due to the cooperation with various subcontractors in the field of ICT services and infrastructure, Algolytic Technologies may outsource the performance of certain activities to recognized subcontractors operating outside the EEA, which may result in the transfer of your data outside the EEA.
In accordance with the decision of the European Commission, recipient countries outside the EEA ensure an adequate level of protection of personal data in accordance with EEA standards. The Commission's decision against the US covers companies participating in the Data Privacy Framework. Algolytics Technologies only works with companies participating in this program. Automated processing of personal data
Your personal data will not be used for the purpose of automated decision-making (including in the form of profiling) in such a way that as a result of such automated processing, any decisions could be made that would have legal effects or similarly affect any effects on customers, contractors, their employees or associates, as well as employees or associates of the administrator or job candidates.
Final information
The Administrator reserves the right to make changes to the Policy by posting the new Policy on Algoytics Technologies' websites with reasonable notice.
